3/5/08
Granville 2
 - 1 Mungret Regional

Granville u9 were home last Saturday morning and were unlucky to be a goal down going in at the break. The manager made a few positional changes on the resumption. Nathan Kiely who was between the post for Granville in the open half was now in midfield and scored to put the home side back on level par. Both team pushed forward looking for the winner and when the ball fell to Craig Ryan he made no mistake to give Granville the win.

26/4/08
Granville 8
 - 0 Hyde Rangers

Our u9 team bounced back from last weeks defeat as they white washed Hyde in Glenbrook last Saturday morning. From the whistle Granville took the game to Hyde and had a comfortable five nil lead at the break. Craig Ryan, Nathan Kiely, Nathan Walsh, Christopher Mc Elligott with a brace were all on the score sheet. On the resumption the home side scored a further three goals. Killian Markham who is having a great season put two goals past the Hyde net minder. As the final whistle loomed Christopher McElligott raced into the box and his shot rebound off the post and the advancing Steven Murnane hit a daisy cutter into bottom corner to finish off a fine team performance.

19/4/08
Granville 1
 - 2 Aisling

Our u9 were at the wrong end of a  2 - 1 score line as they played away this weekend to Aisling. They played well in the opening half but it was the home side that were the happiest of the teams going in at the break two up. One the resumption Granville pushed players forward and reduced the deficit when Craig Ryan slotted the ball home from close range. Our 10s were at stage enjoying a good spell when Calvin Lynch raced up the pitch and his shot was save on the line. As Granville went looking for the equaliser they left themselves open at the back. However the defence held tough as Fionn Mulhall and Stephen Murnane marshalled the back line and prevented Aisling from getting a third. If only Granville had played as well in the first half they may have got something from this game.

23/2/08
Granville 5
 - 0 Summerville Rovers

Our u9 team were the visitors to Portland Park as they played a friendly against Summerville. From the start Granville took the game to the home side and within five minutes were one up when Calvin Lynch scored from close range. Four minutes later Granville doubled their account as Dave Richter hit a daisy cutter under the advancing keeper. Summerville slowly came into the game and could easily have got on the score board but as the first half came to a close Dade Richter hit his second to put Granville three up at the break.

In a evenly fought second half it was again Granville who opened the scored when a long ball from David Begley bounced into the path of the advancing Christopher Mc Gelligott who's  blistering shot hit the back of the net. In the dying minutes Granville made it five when Nathan Walsh's cross was met by Cian Ryan who raced into the box and rounded the keeper to slot home.
